About us

Mariam Guirguis is a dedicated Registered Physiotherapist (RPT) with a specialization in Pelvic Health Therapy. She began her journey in physiotherapy with a Bachelor’s degree from Cairo University in Egypt in 2006. During her time there, she gained extensive experience working in hospitals, private clinics, and orthopedic centers, treating a broad range of injuries including back and neck pain, shoulder and elbow issues, and wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot pain, as well as both acute and chronic sports injuries.

After relocating to Canada in 2012, Mariam continued her commitment to clinical excellence by becoming a registered physiotherapist and pursuing ongoing education. Her approach to therapy integrates manual techniques, soft tissue methods, functional training, and personalized exercise programs, all aimed at restoring and maximizing patient function and overall well-being.

Mariam specializes in pelvic health physiotherapy, addressing a variety of conditions such as pelvic pain, urinary issues, painful intercourse (dyspareunia), post-surgical rehabilitation, endometriosis, pregnancy-related concerns, constipation, and prolapse. Her treatment methods include education, relaxation techniques, manual therapy, visceral and fascial techniques, personalized exercises, and advanced modalities like biofeedback, muscle stimulation and accupunctre.
